Sorry women but this one is mostly for the guys. Defined traps look great on a man. They create an appearance of power and masculinity. Standard resistance bands don’t allow for a quality trapezius workout because it is a muscle that requires very heavy levels of resistance to grow. However, with the Aylio bands, you can attach up to five bands to your handles to create the necessary amount of tension. You will quickly start feeling the burn but if you really want those big traps, close your eyes and fight through the pain as much as you can. Do this for at least three sets.
Different exercises require different levels of resistance. Choose the level of resistance that you feel most comfortable with. Remember, if you find an exercise too easy, you can always stack additional bands to the handles for an added degree of difficulty. The Aylio system supports up to five bands and over 100 lbs. of resistance! Try to add a little extra resistance each time you perform an exercise to keep your body challenged.
Setup: Stand on the bands with your feet shoulder width apart.
Motion: While keeping proper posture, raise your arms straight up until your shoulders touch your ears. Hold it for one second and come down slowly.
