When you travel, portable fitness equipment is the way to go. Forgo the hotel gyms; to stay ripped, you want pilates bands. To keep toning those 6 pack abs while you travel, most definitely, mobile solutions such as fitness bands are the way to go.
 
Exercise bands work well because they’re more natural and in line, literally, with your muscles’ own resistances. You should consider conditioning with ultra stretch bands, which work to naturally produce stress on your muscles, as opposed to the invasiveness of lifting weights. Resistance bands are better for you, as they’re less likely to cause you an injury, but they’re also really light, and make for a good way to keep toning while you’re on the road. But before you buy resistance bands, it’s important to realize that you won’t build muscle mass with exercise bands; you’ll actually need to lift weights to build mass. Rather, bands are just a good way to keeping and maintaining your beach body while you’re traveling for business or pleasure.

While you travel, you might also consider resistance tubes or exercise tubes. These are also mobile solutions that you can take with you in your suitcase. The benefits are similar, in that the tubes provide and impose stresses that is more natural and less invasive than heavy weights. But, again, you won’t be able to build muscle mass with tubes.
