broken handle, NO return/replacement/warranty Jul 29, 2010
I bought these resistance handles less than a month ago and have used them maybe 4 times. At first they were great, using them was a snap and they provided from very light to extremely heavy levels of resistance (I am using them for p90x). I lift weights very regularly, and putting together the top 3 most heavy bands at the same time would be impossible for pretty much anyone besides chuck norris to shoulder press. If the handle had not torn apart at the cloth section while I was doing lats the other day, this would have been a 4 or 5 star review

Which brings me to my main point of contention: the handle broke on the FOURTH period of use. The bands were still basically new and yet the cloth somehow had already frayed enough to snap apart in the middle of exercise. Had I not been lucky I could have had a face full of metal buckles in my face. Not only that, because Aylio gets their stuff fulfilled by Amazon they do not have their own customer service. NOT ONLY THAT, Amazon refused to give return or refund or replacement because the product was "part of a constantly changing inventory" and was already damaged, thus ineligible for their returns policy. All I can do is order some ridiculously expensive handles and hope they dont snap apart in my face again.

These bands are GREAT! I was using another set of bands and not feeling much burn, even with the "extra heavy" band. WHOA NELLY! I couldn't even get through all the sets with the red band, I had to move on down to the blue one! The day after completing the biceps/back rotation, I really feel like I worked the muscles. I'm not a body builder at all, just starting out getting healthy actually, but my husband lifts weights and he thinks they are great too! The book that comes with it has 101 exercises, so you never get bored. Great product, glad I purchased it :)

I must say these bands are pretty good. Not only are they durable, but with the purchase you also receive a booklet and dvd that will help you with your excercises. I can finally do a wide range of excercises that I wanted to do for a long while and with the results that I have been looking for. If you are a person interested in or taking Judo, these bands are a huge plus!
